Uses: Roots (refrigerant, depurative, diuretic, leprosy, skin diseases), leaves (constipating, febrifuge and liver tonic, wounds, ulcers, burning sensations, inflammations, scabies, leprosy, leucoderma, boils, amenorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, fever,  cough, bronchitis, dysentery)

 56) Hibiscus rosa-senensis

Family: Malvaceae
Common Name: China Rose (
japa)
Part Used: Flowers, leaves, roots 
Uses: Snakebites, stomach and intestinal disorders, loss of appetite, headaches, stomach cancer, hysteria, gonorrhea, venereal diseases, antiseptic and respiratory disorders



57) Cissampelos pariera

Family: Menispermaceae
Common Name: Velvet Leaf (Pahadimul)
Part Used: Seed, bark, leaf, root
Uses:  Midwife's herb – aliments in women, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, diuretic, uterine relaxant, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, analgesic, antihemorrhagic, diaphoretic, expectorant, heart problems, kidney stones, kidney infections and pains, asthma, arthritis, muscle cramps and stomach pains, prevents convulsions, ulcers, indigestion, skin irritations, cough, fever, intestional worms, wounds, and for snake bite.

Use: Blood pressure, cancer, colon cleanser, eye, increases digestion and immunity, mood enhancer, asthma

Uses: Laxative, wound healing, skin burns & care, Ulcer




60) Piper longum
